Harvested and produced May 4, 2025 by Mr. Liu Zhao Quan in Da Ping Zhang Village, Puer City, Yunnan Province. Post fermentation production was completed July 10, 2025. Itās a one bud, two leaf pick of the Yunnan Big Leaf cultivar growing at 4,900 feet.
All ripe puer comes from the Xishuangbanna region of southern Yunnan Province, China. It starts out as raw puer (simple green tea), but then goes through a final step of āpile fermentationā where they pile it up, apply moisture, and cover it for a period of time to achieve microbiological change. The result is intensely earthy and smooth.

Steeping Instructions
3 grams | 10-12 oz water | 212°F | Steep 2 min.
Traditional Steeping
Use 6 grams of tea in 150ml gaiwan using boiling water:
- Rinse - 10 seconds (discard this steep)
- 1stĀ Steep ā 20 seconds
- 2ndĀ Steep ā 15 seconds
- 3rdĀ Steep ā 45 seconds
- 4thĀ Steep ā 2 min 15 seconds
- 5thĀ Steep ā 5 min 30 seconds
